How do you look after your jewelry?

Our jewelry care tips

You want your jewels to stay as shiny as the day they were worn, and not be damaged or worn out prematurely. Rubbing, contact with chemicals and cosmetic products are the main causes of wear and tear.

That's why our selection of silver jewelry is all rhodium-plated silver, which means it's coated with a thin layer of rhodium to prevent oxidation.

Gold-plated jewelry is coated with a thin layer of 18-carat gold, 3 microns thick.

They'll stand the test of time, but it's best to take a few precautions. Here are a few tips to keep them looking their best for as long as possible.

- Remove them before going to bed and enjoy sweet dreams

- Remove them before taking a shower or bath full of foam

- Don't keep them for swimming in the sea, even with the most beautiful swimsuit.

- Take them off before a few laps in the pool

- Keep them in their cosy pouch. For necklaces, close them with the clasp on the outside to prevent tangling.

- You can also keep them preciously in a pretty compartmentalized jewelry box.

- Remove them when gardening or doing DIY

- Avoid wearing them when using household products or bleach

- Keep them away from light and moisture, so avoid leaving them in the bathroom!

- Avoid spraying your perfume or applying a cream directly in contact with your jewelry, but simply adorn yourself with your most beautiful pieces after your beauty treatment!

Silver and gold-plated jewels develop a patina over time. To clean them, simply wipe them with a soft cloth to bring out their shine, and for silver jewels, use the simple method of rubbing toothpaste onto a soft toothbrush, then rinsing with lukewarm water and drying with a soft cloth.
